Miles

Born and Raised in Park City, UT

The president and chief pilot, Miles comes from a long heritage of silver & gold mining in the Park City and Idaho areas. Miles is a true native of Park City and enjoys many of the outdoor and cultural activities that Park City has to offer (skiing, snowmobiling, hiking, mountain biking, the arts). Miles has over 20 years and 3,100 hours of mountain flying experience in the world of Hot Air Ballooning. He has flown in places like Napa Valley, CA.; Palm Springs, CA.; Albuquerque, NM.; Sun Valley, ID.; and Aspen, CO. Miles purchased Park City Balloon Adventures in the winter of 1994.

Tom

Born and Raised in Salt Lake City, UT

Tom has a long history of adventure activities in Utah including white water rafting, skiing, mountain biking and hot air ballooning. He learned to fly balloons in Park City in the mid 80's. His resume includes having been the former Sales Manager for Firefly Balloons (a major manufacturer), conducted scientific balloon flights for a joint venture between the USAF, JPL and Lockheed, and he has owned a balloon adventure company in Moab and Park City, UT. Tom is still the original permit holder for conducting commercial balloon flights on BLM lands in Southern Utah and has the largest flight area allowed by permit. With over 25 years of commercial and competitive flying experience, Tom has logged flights all over the country including Bentonville and Harrison, AR; Telluride, CO; Boise and Driggs, ID; Bowling Green, KY; Miles City, MT; Statesville, NC; Albuquerque, NM; Syracuse, NY; Tulsa OK; around San Antonio, TX; and Riverton and Rock Springs, WY.

Logan

Park City, UT

Logan has been ballooning for over 12 years. He has worked for multiple hot air balloon ride companies in Aspen, CO, California, and in Park City, UT. An experienced mountain pilot, he did most of his flight training in the same Wasatch Mountain valleys where Miles and Tom learned to fly. He has logged flights in areas as spectacular as Park City, Heber and Moab, UT; as well as having conducted flights in Palm Springs, CA; Albuquerque, NM; and Billings, MT.
